Where do I start?
For a guy living in South Florida I wear a lot of boots and hats. Folks likely think I'm half baked, but it's just who I am. I started making some hat bands to match some shirts and/or boots because I was running out of room for new hats...
Enter, my mom. "Hey, those are really nice. Do you think you could make me a bracelet?"
I don't know, but I'll try. So, as I invent the world's very 1st micro hat band (pronounced bracelet) I realize that I might actually be pretty good at this and am enjoying the creativity to boot...
Some info about my 'wares'.
Every piece that I make is hand made. I come home from work, make a cup of coffee, park at my work bench and try to convert the designs in my head into wearable art that makes a significant connection with its wearer.
Leather has memory. Most leather comes in a roll and remembers the curvature of said roll. It tries to return to that relaxed state against my best efforts. At times this makes some earring sets differ just a little. Personally, I have found this to be problematic only to people with both ears on the same side of their head...😉
I don't have fancy machines or a staff of arthritis free youngsters. Just me and some hand tools.
I'm a far cry from a professional photographer. Generally the Item looks better in person than in my clumsy pictures. I hope to improve, but for now this is who y'all are stuck with...
